On February 22, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. (CST), Congressman Lamar Smith (R-Texas), along with dyslexia experts, will host a Community Awareness on Dyslexia Meeting for parents, administrators, educators and community members who are interested in learning more about dyslexia and meeting dyslexia policymakers. The event will cover a general overview of dyslexia including recognizing, diagnosing and treatment at the forum as well as an update on current federal dyslexia legislation.
Prior to the meeting, Congressman Smith will host a meet and greet from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
